The Tie-in between various Environmental Terminologies

Most of us are really too much familiar with the word climate change and its high scale advocacy on various platforms has made this term a more upheld philosophy. Moreover, the change in long-term weather patterns being caused by human action has made things really horrible for the inhabitants of planet earth.

familiar with the word climate change

The harsh climate change can be indebted to factors such as deforestation and also immense increase in greenhouse gases. Global warming is a certain type of climate change that results in the increasing temperature on the surface of the Earth. The drastic increase in Earth’s temperature has enhanced 0.9 degrees Fahrenheit; however, it also depends upon the type of region that you are living in. let us take the example of the United States where the rapid increase in temperatures can be found in Alaska. Studies reveal that on average, the temperatures increases by more than 3 degrees Fahrenheit per century, however, it is not the case now and the increasing temperatures at such a fast rate is a point of great concern for the inhabitants of planet earth.

The biggest worries for the atmosphere are greenhouse gases that are scaring the living hell out of everyone. In addition, there are also some other factors that are contributing to the greenhouse effect and also to the overall increasing temperatures of the Earth. The annoying thing is that most of the atmospheric gases get trapped and thus the electromagnetic radiations do not get a way for reflecting back into the space.

greenhouse gases

The prominent presence of greenhouse gases such as methane, nitrous oxide, hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs), carbon dioxide, and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6). Moreover, they also constitute a small fraction of the atmospheric gases. The overall composition of the atmosphere comprises nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide. The increase in greenhouse gases has made things really horrible and that is why, spare of thoughts is needed for the planet that is on stake.
